Awesome!

The vocal variety is great! The guitars are awesome. The Bass is great! The drum beats are heavy and neat... But my favorite is that panning sound... I assume that's a pretty synthesizer sound....? I really like this. Very awesome stuff!!!

Southwest-Statistic responds:

It's a Yamaha PSR-85 keyboard with a guitar delay pedal and reverb pedal, which is this distorted to the max and then sent through an EQ to get rid of all the high-end clipping sounds the distortion makes. Thanks for the review everybody.

Heh!

Fun little tune you've got here ^.^! Not really rock and some people might yell at you for that, but still I think it's pretty neat! I like the bells ^.^! Nice job.

TheUnderlord responds:

Thanks! You're right, I should have placed it under Techno or something... *shrugs* Ah well, next submissions will be put in their proper places.

I like the style here!

All the sounds are quite pretty, though they are be a bit repetetetive... The opening sound really is too loud for such a sharp sounding clip though.... But I like it ^.^! The beat is pretty decent too ^.^! Keep making more of this ^.^!

Heitoki responds:

Im sry about that first instrument >.> i do appreciate the review ^^

Grandiose!

Heh! I love these type of super symphony-esque peices!!! Reminds me of over-dramaticized parts of movies and all.. And the band Evanescence... Heh.. And I like how it starts to chop and fade into a more... uhhh.... modern sounding peice? But the music sounds a little........ Blurry.. or something... recording wise... Perhaps it's just my speakers...... Welll... Keep on writting this stuff please ^.^!

mrStrike responds:

Thanks for reviewing this! I am currently using a microphone to record so there might be some collateral noises that appear throughout the song. This caused the choppiness and stuff. I tried my best to get as many of the excess noises out of the song and I will hopefully get an midi cable soon. Again thanks for reviewing jeghyan.

Nice riff ^.^!

Pretty neat, and awesome recording quality as you usually have... The guitar sounds really deep and neat! Well, I really like the tune ^.^!

Good... but the recording...

I like this song but I think it can use some improvement...

The guitar work is really nice. I like it quite a bit. Unfortunately I feel the recording here is a little worse than in "For You."

I'm okay with the vocals here, but the lack of clarity is really taking away from the song -.-;

Nothing is too clear at all in this song and I think that's the major flaw. Everything sounds muffled... just a poor recording... I don't like to be so pessimistic because it is a good song. It's just a poor recording. Keep working on your recording techniques...

PlasticMessiah responds:

This recording is taken from a live soundboard, and really isn't meant to be played on pc speakers. I know it's not the best but it serves it's purpose as audio for simple listening.

Great song but the recording could be improved.

I'd like to start by saying I REALLY like the style of this song. It's moody and dreary, but not boring, and I appreciate that in a song. Now the technical bit...

I like the guitars a lot, they have that nice melodic quality and while they are repetetive, I like them anyways. The drums, while also very repetetive are effective. Unfortunately I have to say that the recording quality isn't too good, but that's not too important...

The singing, I feel is good, but it sounds quite muffled and frankly is not very clear in this recording.

As far as the song structure... I like that messy intro to it, but after that it feels like one big steady song with no rise or fall in action. This isn't necesarilly a bad thing, but be careful of overusing that format...

When it comes down to it I really enjoy this song but wish the recording quality were better.
Keep it up though ^.^! I'd really like to hear more ^.^!

PlasticMessiah responds:

Thanks for the review. Yeah recording is always a sketcy thing, but a lot of these were just test runs, especially this track, because we were using a drum machine for the first time.
